Choosing a siding for your home depends on your lifestyle and personal design. It's also use for protection during rain and extreme weather. Siding is the outer shed of your house which may form either of horizontal or of vertical board made in material shingles. Moreover, it adds house value and can increase your profit.
In some countries, they consider this as a very important part of house exterior. Aside from protection, it gives extra home details . However, there are different types of sidings and depends on the materials that you're going to use.

One of the examples is the wood siding. This kind of materials is very versatile and this is commonly use by most individuals. Form by overlapping of woods or clapboards and fit for any house style. Actually, you can choose any colors you want as long as it synchronizes with your entire house decoration. Although maintaining of the wood is a bit expensive because you need to buy chemicals or pesticides for the periodic maintenance.

The other one is the plastic siding. It is an imitation of  wood. Overlapping of clapboard and it can be either horizontal or vertical form. Instead of wood panel, PVC weather boarding is use. It is cheaper than the wood and a lot easier to install compared with the other materials. However, it's not recyclable and very toxic especially if catches fire. The fire can easily jump over neighbor fence. It is generally use by common house developer to reduce expenses.

There are other types of sidings and these are usually impregnated panels about 2 to 4 feet high. And mostly they are in asphalt, metal, insulated, composite and masonry sidings.

These are only the options and it’s all up to you whether of which are you most preferred with.
